Cork Outreach Session: Circular Economy in Practice

Join us for the Cork Circular Economy Outreach Session

We are pleased to invite you to the Supply Chain Sustainability School Ireland’s Cork Outreach Session on Thursday, 10 September 2026 in Cork City.

This short morning session will explore circular economy in practice, looking at how circular economy principles can move from strategy into practical action across the built environment.

The session is open to anyone working in, with, or alongside the built environment who is interested in circular economy, sustainability and regional collaboration. This includes School Partners, local businesses, supply chain organisations, contractors, consultants, designers, infrastructure clients, public bodies and community or industry stakeholders.

The morning will feature short speaker inputs, a focused discussion and an opportunity to connect with local organisations over coffee and pastries.

What to expect

The morning will explore how circular economy principles can be applied across the built environment in Cork and the wider region — from early planning and design through to infrastructure, construction delivery and supply chain collaboration.

Contributors will bring perspectives from research, design, infrastructure, construction and regional priorities, with a practical focus on waste prevention, reuse, resource efficiency and turning strategy into action.

The session will also highlight free resources, training and support available through the Supply Chain Sustainability School Ireland.
