Working Together Through Change: Navigating Sustainable Procurement Policy Shifts Together - Virtual Conference

Join us for a 2-hour virtual conference on sustainable procurement.

What is this session about?

Legislative and policy developments, such as the CSRD and Ireland’s Green Public Procurement requirements, are reshaping procurement practices across the built environment sector. As buying organisations work to meet these new expectations, suppliers are similarly being challenged to evolve their work-winning strategies and engagement approaches to stay aligned.

This conference will explore how companies and semi‑state bodies are adapting their procurement processes in response to these emerging policies and regulations and examine the resulting implications for suppliers. It will highlight the challenges and opportunities these shifts present on both sides, and where greater alignment can drive smoother, more effective implementation.

By bringing together corporate and supplier perspectives, the event creates a platform for open dialogue between stakeholders, fostering shared understanding, practical insights, and collaborative solutions to ensure a more seamless transition for everyone involved.

What will I learn?

  • Practical steps and examples to start integrating environmental and social sustainability into procurement processes.
  • Real-world examples of organisations that have successfully adapted to the evolving government policy and national / EU level legislation.
  • Knowledge of how small and mid-sized businesses can align to developments in sustainable procurement to gain competitive advantage with their clients.
