Modern Slavery - Virtual Conference
What is this session about?
This virtual conference is aimed at anyone within your organisation who needs to increase their understanding of modern slavery and labour exploitation. This conference will provide an overview of what modern slavery is, current trends, high risk categories, how to spot the signs of modern slavery, and uses examples of real life case studies to bring the topic to life.
An introduction to due diligence will be provided, together with an insight into the wider global legislative landscape. Attendees will be signposted to free resources to help them develop their approach to combatting modern slavery. This virtual conference will benefit everyone in all types of organisations.

- An understanding of what modern slavery is, the current landscape and trends
- Insights on how to spot the signs of modern slavery
- Clarity around the legislation in Ireland
- Tips and points around competency frameworks and training needs for everyone in your organisation

What are the technical requirements?
You will need:
- An internet connection
- A computer with a microphone and camera is best (e.g. a PC/laptop/iMac/MacBook)
- Earphones/headphones/speakers (preferable)
- A tablet/iPad/smartphone/iPhone to load facilitation tools
