What is this session about?

Participants at this session will learn about the nature and types of plastics commonly encountered in the built environment, their responsible use, finding practical ways to reduce single use plastics on-site or at the design stage, and meeting the challenge of the Plastic Packaging tax and future obligations such as extended produce responsibility.

What will I achieve?

This workshop will provide participants with:

  • An understanding of the basic polymer types likely to be encountered
  • A guide to the key aspects to consider in using plastics responsibly
  • An overview of any potential future policy and legislative issues on plastic, connected to the Circular Economy Act
To ensure fairness in our workshops, each company is limited to two registrations. If more than two individuals register, we may request cancellations so that other companies can participate.
