What is this session about? 

This workshop will provide participants with an introductory understanding of social value. It will look a what social value is, why it matters, what is the business case. It will also explore best practice for creating meaningful social value and community impact, including an introduction to guidelines and legislation such as the Public Services and Procurement (Social Value) Bill 2017. We will also present tools and frameworks available to measure and report on social value.

• How social value can be generated, measured and reported; and the various tools available to help
• How a company can help increase the social impact of School Partners' activities
